AVEVA E3D DESIGN 3.1 | What’s New – Ability to copy to alternative owner

The Copy function has been extended at this release AVEVA E3D DESIGN 3.1.1.0 to allow the copying of an element to a new hierarchy owner. The copy context of the following commands has been extended:

  • Copy & Paste (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V)
  • Copy (COPY)
  • Move (MOVE)
  • Rotate (ROTATE)
  • Scale (SCALE)

A new Owner option has been added to the Context Editor menu.

On clicking Owner, the user is prompted to pick a new hierarchy owner for the identified element in the
Model Explorer.

If an invalid owner type is selected a message is presented.
